Also, I have to tell you that we showed the strip of ultrasound pictures to Micah and explained that it is a baby, his very own little brother or sister. He smiled, looked over them, pointed at one and said, "This one, please."

So Micah picked this kid out.

Baby Temple waves at the camera.

We're very happy to announce that Baby Temple will be joining us in early March. I've been feeling pretty rotten, which was a very reassuring sign throughout first trimester. If ever I felt better for even a moment, panic would set in. I'm happy to be moving out of that now and starting to feel better without the panic. It was so wonderful to see this little one on ultrasound and hear the strong and steady heartbeat this morning. Thanks be to God!

Maybe you remember when we planted two pear trees in honor of Micah's birth.

Micah has grown. The trees have grown. These are the actually the second real crop we've picked this year. They are amazingly delicious. The best pears I've ever tasted.
