Conversation Lesson (for me)

Read the questions and answer using complete sentences...

Q: What happens to snakes in winter?

Simeon's Answer: I would really like to know, but I have no idea what happens to snakes in winter because my mother does not like snakes and therefore she never buys me books about them.

So, does that mean I can't send your boys a live snake for Christmas? :)

I would do the same thing with spiders and most insects.

Lizards too. Yick.

That's awesome. That's the best answer I've heard in awhile. How is it I love your kids and never met them? ;-)

Same goes for squirrels. Blah. They are rats with big bushy tails and gone for the winter. Thank goodness.

Ah, moments like that are kind of cringe-worthy but also FUNNY.

So cute. I am giggling right now. That will be my boys' answer in a few years!

I think I'm much, much happier not knowing where snakes go in the winter. I mean, do they search for places to curl up? Like under the house? Or in the wheelbarrow? Or between my potted plants? Or under the crepe myrtle I like to sit under? No, I'd rather not know.

LOL!! It's spiders in this house and it's my dh who doesn't like them. My middle dd loves all things bugs.
