LOL! We had a similar scenario while visiting my in-laws on Sunday. Little Brother brought his bag of Army Guys, and there was a full-scale battle on her glass-topped coffee table. Soldiers were flying in all directions!
Yeppers...it will go on for many years. Not too many years ago, my boys were still making elaborate battlefields in their room and the bombs would be crumpled up balls of paper...there were barricades, plastic army men, and balls of paper EVERYWHERE! :)
This is exactly what my husband told me having boys would someday be like. He and his two brothers would have 'battles' with everything. Dinosaurs vs. matchbox cars vs. soldiers... I can't wait. I think? Once again, I love seeing a glimpse of my future via your blog.

that is so cute. do you give each of the boys some private time in their rooms? and if so, how long?
Anon, Quiet time, do you mean? No, not usually. I did when they were smaller, but I just don't feel the need for it anymore.
Maybe the soldiers are examining their guns and swords to see which would make a better plowshare... Ok, does it show that I only have girls? ;)

May their wars always be of the plastic sort. Enjoy those little boys!
