Babysat

Nicholas is usually the first one up in the morning. He jumps out of his crib, comes into our room, and climbs into bed with me. I wake up to Nicholas' cuddles and gentle little voice saying "More-Ning-Ma-ma." Sometimes his cuddling resembles something more like wrestling, but I have appreciated being his first thought of every morning.

This morning was different. This morning the older boys were up earlier than Nicholas and by the time he was up, a game of Hide and Go Seek was in full swing. Who can bother with his mother when his brothers are up? But at least he thought of me. Nicholas went back to his room and returned with his doll, Joey. Guess who I got to cuddle with this morning.

"Good morning, Suzanne. You've been dumped."

He is so thoughtful and sensitive, what a wonderful little boy! You have not been dumped, he didn't want his mama lonely! :)

Sounds familiar -- although in the case of our little guy, there's no "sometimes" about it.
