Sleep Eating

A new disorder invented by Nicholas. Too tired to eat and too hungry to sleep, Nicholas ate an entire plate of spaghetti and meatballs with his eyes closed tonight. We laughed at the poor little guy as we assisted him throughout the meal, waking him when he finally nodded off with his mouth half full.

Oh, Suzanne, that's not a new disorder! It's recognized in the Journal of American Medicine. It's called pregnancy. I myself engage in sleep-eating almost every night, between 2 and 4 AM.

Poor Nicholas. He's awfully young to be pregnant just yet. :)

That sounds vaguely familiar... maybe due to a picture my folks had somewhere of my then 3 yo brother... so tired he was holding his spoon to his mouth as his head tipped his nearly empty soup bowl over...

Sounds like he and his brothers had a very busy Easter weekend... They are all falling asleep!

Johane, I hadn't even realized I had two posts about sleep in a row.

Goslyn, that's hilarious.
