A daily insight into the joys of raising boys...and lots of them.
Thanks for the reminder!
My local convent does a big novena thing to Saint Joseph. This year, the kids and I are involved on 3 occasions, and my dad is involved another night... Makes for a busy week ahead. At least it gives me an extra chance to pray for a few people that I have just learned either have terminal cancer (Bob P. - one of the people to inspire me to become a chef) and another who has a serious cancer, not declared terminal yet, but it is certainly not looking good (G. Digiacinto - the mother of an old schoolmate). Both within a week from each other... and my sister says she has a friend who has been sent home to die from cancer too. The docs have decided that there isn't much that they could do. How encouraging is that? Where is the faith - even the size of a mustard seed would move a mountain...
Suzanne, that is a beautiful icon of St. Joseph.
