December

Oh, the Holly she bears a berry
as blood it is red
and Mary she bore Jesus
to die in our stead.

Now, the Holly she bears a prickle
as sharp as any thorn
and Mary she bore Jesus
on Chistmas in the morn.

Now, the Holly she bears a bark
as bitter as any gall
and Mary she bore Jesus
For to redeem sinners all.

Oh, the Holly she bears a blossom
as white as can be
and Mary she bore Jesus
Our savior for to be.
