matilda, The promise of a lollipop is all it takes for me to get cooperation, but wait until the haircut is finished. Hair plus lollipop equals really, really yucky.
I was wondering what it is that would make someone give a child with a new haircut a lollipop. They're still going to get it all hairy! (I prefer a pack of Smarties for this purpose)
My guys and I got our Christmas cuts today too :) 'Tis the season, I guess! Your guy looks very cute with his.
How cute ! I remember when my boys were little and let me cut their hair like that. Now my thirten year old likes his head totally shaved. I get so nervous using a razer on his head. I have never cut him but I usually pray through the whole shave .
LOL!! And here I was feeling sorry for the little fellow - I thought he had cut his tongue! I was astonished to see he wasn't in tears, and dumbfounded that this would be a "regular" Christmas event... D'oh!!! (Can you tell I have all girls?)
I was thinking what Matilda was thinking...I'm paranoid too! I thought up this whole scenario of how he got cut and then got the lollipop for being so good in the ER or something. Our boys just got haircuts last night too. :) Looking cute!
We do haircuts in the bath so we can wash the hair down the drain. I have a daughter, though, so this might not work for boys. I don't know. She loves using a cup to rinse the hair off of her arms and belly as I cut, so we haven't had to add lollipops, but maybe with daughter #2 -- her hair isn't long enough, yet, but she's much more active than her big sister!

How paranoid am I? I was trying to find where he had cut himself and figure out what it had to do with Christmas. I need more sleep!
He looks very handsome. If you did this yourself, I would love some tips on keeping them from squirming around.

True enough, barb, Smarties are smarter, but when pops are all you got...
Sometimes, we do chocolate chips or Valentine hearts in February.
Whatever is in the house.

Cute little boy :) I'd give him a lollipop just cause he's so cute :)

We do suckers or whatever is in the house for haircuts too!! Of course, my husband opts for no sucker...:)
Cute! I, too, was thinking for a moment that he cut himself and got a lolipop as a comfort treat. LOL! I can't wait to start drinking coffee again...
We do whatever is in the house, too. And it works miracles. Ramona loves her haircuts. :-)
