Ok, so I did not do laundry for 3 days! and, boy am I paying for it today! Any ideas on how to get your children to help? how young to start etc...? Keep Smiling :)
Anon 1, I know what you mean. Anon 2, Wow! That's a reason to keep blogging if I ever heard one. You know, it really helps me, too. God bless you and your family. Anon 3, I have the boys fold towels and pillow cases. When I was a new mom, though, I went to help out an older mom with lots of kids. She had them all folding their own clothes and putting it all away. I was amazed.
My oldest has been doing his laudry since he turned 8 (dad's decision). I have them start at 4 or 5 by switching it for me (from the dryer to a basket, from the washer to the dryer, from the hamper to the washer...it only works because we have front loading washer). Then by 5 they start putting it away after I have folded it or put it on a hanger. Around 6 we introduce sorting. At 7 they start learning how to fold it themselves. It has worked well thus far.

Oh how I hate when that happens! If I ever miss even one day, the laundry seems to breed in the hampers! Good Luck!
I love your blog! I read it everyday, and it gives me the encouragement to try to be a better mother and wife. You have a wonderful outlook on life!
